Privacy Policy

Voice Gender Analyzer is designed to analyse selected voice characteristics in your browser. Voice recordings are processed locally on your device and are not sent to our servers. We do not collect, store, upload, or receive the audio used for a voice test, raw audio frames, extracted acoustic features, an acoustic embedding, or a recording file. The result is generated from the recording in your browser and describes the recording's measured acoustic patterns; it does not identify a person's gender identity, biological sex, health, or personal identity.

This policy explains the separate data paths used by the service: local microphone processing, optional waitlist contact, website cookies and similar technologies, and any future advertising services. Our core privacy commitment is intentionally narrow and testable: voice data and analysis results do not leave the browser as a network request.

Microphone access

The tool requests microphone access only after you choose to start a recording. Your browser and operating system control that permission, and you can deny or revoke it at any time in your browser or device settings. The microphone stream is used only while you are recording. The tool stops its tracks after recording finishes, is cancelled, or you leave the page.

We do not use microphone permission as consent for another purpose. In particular, we do not send your voice recording, pitch frames, gender-presentation estimate, quality score, or other result values to analytics, advertising, waitlist, or contact services. You can use the free analyzer without creating an account or submitting an email address.

Local audio processing

While a recording is active, client-side JavaScript uses browser audio features to estimate pitch, pitch movement, recording quality, and a spectral-balance proxy. These calculations take place on your device. Temporary values may exist in browser memory while the report is rendered, but we do not transmit them to our servers, retain them in a user database, or link them to a person.

You can independently check this boundary with your browser's developer tools. On a desktop browser, open the Network panel, clear existing entries, record a sample, and inspect requests. The recording process should not create a request containing an audio file, raw waveform, extracted voice feature, or analysis result. Page assets and an optional form submission are separate from the local analysis.

Waitlist email

If you choose to join the Pro waitlist, the email address you submit is sent to the configured waitlist provider. It is separate from audio processing and never includes your recording, pitch frames, median pitch, presentation score, or other analysis results. We use that email only to manage interest in the upcoming Pro offering and related product updates. Do not include sensitive information in a free-text message or email to us.

The form provider may process the email address and limited technical information needed to operate the form, subject to its own privacy terms. We do not merge waitlist submissions with local voice-analysis data because the site does not receive that data. You may contact us at the address below to ask about a waitlist email or request that we remove it.

Cookies, similar technologies, and consent

The core local voice analysis does not require advertising cookies to work. The site may use strictly necessary browser storage or cookies for functions such as remembering a privacy preference or keeping essential site functionality available. We do not use cookies, local storage, pixels, or device identifiers to store audio recordings or associate voice-analysis results with an identifiable visitor.

If you opt in through the site's analytics choice, Google Analytics 4 may use cookies, web beacons, device identifiers, local storage, or similar technologies to provide aggregated page-usage measurements. We do not send recordings, pitch frames, presentation scores, confidence values, emails, or microphone data to Google Analytics. Analytics is configured without Google Signals or advertising personalization and is not required to use the analyzer. You can decline or later clear the analytics choice in your browser storage.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland may be shown a consent choice before optional advertising technologies are used, including where a Google-certified consent management platform is required for Google advertising products. You can also manage many Google advertising preferences through Google's ad settings. Declining optional advertising consent will not cause us to upload your audio or analysis results.

Advertising and sensitive data

We do not use voice recordings, raw audio, pitch values, gender-presentation estimates, health information, sexual orientation, religion, political views, or other sensitive information to create advertising audiences, retarget visitors, or personalize ads. We do not pass email addresses or other personally identifiable information in advertising requests. If advertising is added, advertisements will be kept separate from the local analysis process and displayed only in accordance with applicable platform policies and law.

We do not request precise location for the analyzer. If a future feature would request precise location, we will explain the purpose and seek any consent required before collecting it. We do not set or alter cookies on Google-owned domains, and we do not use the tool for employment, credit, housing, insurance, or other eligibility decisions.

Security, retention, and your choices

Because the service is built to avoid receiving recordings and analysis data, we cannot retrieve, export, or delete audio that remains on your device. You control any local browser data, downloaded files, or notes you create. Keep your device and browser updated, revoke microphone permission when you no longer need it, and avoid recording another person without their clear permission.

We retain optional waitlist contact information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose described above or until you ask us to remove it, unless a longer period is required by law. We may disclose information if required to comply with a legal obligation or protect the security and rights of the service and its users. We do not sell voice recordings because we do not receive them.

Children and international visitors

The service is not directed to children. Do not use the tool to record a child or submit a child's information. Internet services may be accessed from different countries, and privacy laws vary. We aim to provide clear notice and consent choices where they are required; this policy does not remove rights you may have under applicable law.

Changes and contact

This policy may be updated as the product develops, for example if a future feature changes how contact information, analytics, cookies, or advertising are handled.
